About an Exploration and Celebration of Life
Join us for this one day, event to explore the beautiful art of mindfulness and meditation and how to bring this into your life. During the day we will learn the foundations of an effective mindfulness practice and cut to the core of what it means to live a mindful life. We will explore areas such as
- The foundations – What is mindfulness and developing your “why” of practice
- Connecting body and mind
- Cultivating inner stillness and calm
- Strength and Resilience – How we relate to our emotions
- Seeing the world through our senses
- Kindness and compassion.
- What next – How to sustain and build a regular practice.
This is an experiential day, there will be guided meditations throughout the day, time for enquiry and reflection and pauses to take in the wonderful surroundings at Whistlewood Common. The day is ideal for beginners and those wishing to refresh their practice. Includes refreshments and homemade lunch. A day to reconnect and recharge.
About Roger Hunt
Roger is an EDI accredited qualified life and well-being coach with a level 5 diploma in life/performance coaching. He is a member of The National council of Psychotherapists – The UK professional standards body. Roger discovered mindfulness and meditation after the loss of a close family member and the realization that life might be passing him by. He has since gone on to train with Mindfulness CIC to instruct and facilitate mindfulness and meditation, to share with others, this beautiful, life-fulfilling practice.
