DIY Natural Beauty Workshop – 2 July 2023
10.30 am – 1.00 pm
Price: £42
with Sarah Ryan of Little Trees Outdoor Learning and Conscious Crafts
Make your own natural toiletries using British resources, and ingredients from your garden and kitchen.
In this two and a half hour workshop you will learn about the ingredients used in our everyday beauty products, and how to avoid toxins, tailor a product to your needs, and save money by making your own products.
We only use ingredients that can be found on our own shores, avoiding the exotic imports, and show you a more sustainable and conscious way to care for your skin.
You will make, and take home, a bar of soap, bath bomb, and a pot of healing balm/lip balm. We will also take time for self-care and apply a cleansing mask and body butter. You can choose to use the mask and butter on your face, hands or feet during the workshop.
Hot drinks and homemade cake provided, along with all ingredients and containers. Each participant will also receive info and the recipes to take home. Please bring a small towel and/or flannel for personal use.
Please note that we may use animal products such as, but not limited to, beeswax or lanolin during this workshop. Alternatives can be suggested but not provided. Due to the use of certain essential oils and working at the stove, this workshop is not suitable for under 16s. Young people between 16 and 18 are welcome to attend with an accompanying adult.
