About Glitzy Glass
A workshop designed with Mothers and Daughters or Mothers and Sons in mind! All are welcome!
This workshop is suited for all levels of experience – come and play with colour. After a brief health and safety talk, you will be led through the process of cutting and breaking sheets of glass safely before spending time creating designs. Everyone loves sparkle and during the day you will be able to make accessories that are either personal or for the home, for yourself or to give away as gifts.
All basic materials are included in the session fee and will enable you to make at least 3 items depending on your chosen designs and use of time. Items such as small 5cm tiles and hangings as well as pendants, earrings, cufflinks and brooches can be made. Extra materials can be purchased on the day if you’d like to make more pieces or larger designs on the day.
Your work will be taken away at the end of the session to be fired, cleaned, finished and returned to you in person or posted.
Please don’t hesitate to contact Stevie to discuss any queries you may have, big or small and make sure to find her on Facebook and Instagram to keep up to date and see images of previous students work.
