About the Hiking Stick Making Workshop
Make a traditional hiking or pilgrim stick, shepherd’s crook, hook or contemporary design stick from scratch. We will discuss the nature, purpose and use of hiking sticks as we cut our own green sticks in a local woodland. Then we will craft, shape and finish these or seasoned sticks (if preferred) to suit personal taste, all the while sharing the craic! Tools and finishing oils provided. Make a great present for yourself, a friend or loved one.
