Kofuku – Japanese and Far Eastern Retreat Day – 23 April 2020

Timings: 10 am – 4.00 pm

Led by: Helen Saunders and Anne Bramley

Location: Whistlewood Common

An opportunity to experience Japanese and Far Eastern Wellbeing practices.

In the morning you can partake of Shinrin Yoku (Forest Bathing) which entails a gentle walk around our 10 acre site immersing ourselves in nature – a true sensory experience.

This will be followed by Chanoyu – The Tea Ceremony – a slow relaxed way of appreciating Tea.

Andy Mason, the Surburban Peasant, will then serve a delicious 2 course vegetarian Japanese lunch.

Lunch will be followed by a chance to either relax and be, read books, enjoy the spring growth on our beautiful 10 acre site; or take part in creative activities; or have a relaxing treatment from one of our highly trained, insured professionals.

This will include:

Dan Smith – Shiatsu

The day will finish with gentle Tai Chi with Lisa Dengate.

The event price of £75 includes all group activities and your 2 course vegetarian meal. The afternoon one-to-one treatments are priced seperately at £25 per treatment.
